Instructions for authors

Scope and article types
Submit original, unpublished scholarly work that falls within the journal's stated aims and scope. Research Articles must present a clear research question, reproducible methods, results, limitations, and conclusions supported by the evidence. Reviews and other article types must be identified clearly at submission.

Manuscript preparation
Manuscripts must be written in English and include a title, an informative abstract, 3-8 keywords, all author names and affiliations, a corresponding-author email address, the main text, acknowledgements, funding information, a competing-interests statement, a data-availability statement, and complete references. Include ORCID identifiers when available. Figures and tables must be numbered, cited in the text, and accompanied by captions.

Research integrity and ethics
Authors must describe ethics approval and informed consent where human participants, identifiable data, animals, or sensitive materials are involved. The manuscript must disclose funding, competing interests, prior dissemination, use of generative AI, and any restrictions on data or code. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, and undisclosed authorship are not permitted.

Authorship and submission
Every listed author must have made a substantive contribution, approved the submitted version, and accepted responsibility for the work. The corresponding author must obtain all co-author approvals before submission. Contact the journal's editorial office before sending a manuscript; submissions are accepted only while the journal marks editorial intake as open.

Editorial assessment and publication
Submissions are screened for scope, completeness, ethics, and research integrity before external assessment or an editorial decision. Authors must respond to requested revisions and verify the final publication metadata. Accepted articles are published open access under the licence shown on this page and are assigned to a numbered volume and issue.
